I have over 14 years’ experience within HR and I was appointed as HR Business Partner for Great Schools Trust in September 2022. As HR Business Partner, my role is to coach and support school leaders to design and deliver effective HR strategies which support current and future school improvement priorities. I am a trained Mental Health First Aider and believe staff wellbeing to be an important factor in supporting educational outcomes for our students.
Working in our schools and knowing that what I do is having a positive impact on the students and their education is my passion. Although I am not in a classroom, I believe that my role does have a positive influence on our pupils and their education. Ensuring that schools are fulfilling their core HR responsibilities and adhering to the law, legislation and policy mean that the students are safe, fulfilled and receiving a high-quality education.
