My role is to provide support and professional challenge to our Principals and SLTs whilst also focusing on the Quality of Education, curriculum planning, Ofsted readiness and systems across all schools in the Trust.
My career started in Germany over twenty years ago as a Teacher of English at a prestigious boarding Music School. I’ve since worked as a Teacher of German, French and Performing Arts in Warrington, Lancaster and on the Wirral but join the Trust after over six years as Head and Executive Head. My Executive Head role was not related to leading multiple schools, rather it was combined with additional DFE roles as a Curriculum and Timetabling specialist and as one of a handful of Flexible Working Ambassadors. I also inspect for Ofsted; both as a Lead and Team inspector.
Throughout my career to date, I have continually promoted student leadership opportunities beyond the classroom; I firmly believe that academic results are important, but not the only hallmark of success.
